Hiking Soldier

This is my most recent digital drawing that I am working on. This shows just a portion of a larger image which will include a mountainous background. Here you can see the levels of detail I will be applying to the picture.

Sci-Fi RP-verse

These are the first of many works in progress relating to a Sci-Fi Universe which me and my friends are using as part of an adventure game.

Towers

A half hour sketch.

Digi - G'waine

These pieces were just me experimenting with my new tablet and represent a more cartoony style to my usual work.

Odyssey of the Rings

These posters were part of a Uni project where we had to combine 2 films and produce an Eastern European Style poster for the combination. Here I chose 2001: A Space Odyssey and The Lord of the Rings. The first 2 are client visuals, and the last is the final poster evolved from the second design.

Heavy Trooper

This guy means business.

I'm back.

The last couple of months have been filled with small and incomplete drawings. Now to bridge the gap with the bits and pieces I have been working on, and try to update a lot more regularly.

Archibold 'Archy' Conmerchant

This is just a sketch portrait of my second RP character. He is a merchant and comes from a long line of conmen, however, the trait seems to have skipped a generation. He is known about town as the nicest and trustworthy guy in the market quarter, often offering food to the duet of peasants who WON'T SHUT UP! You know who you are...

Flecktarn Trooper

Another Marath Trooper with customised modular armour. Each suit has the potential to be unique to the wearer because of hundreds of interchangeable components.

Boom!

The latest in the line of stupid situations involving the RP characters, shows Al, the 'tank' character firing a shell from his fist. 'Al'fred Marshall is a crusader that can wrestle bears. No joke.

MCD CSTDN-12

This is a very rough sketch for the latest design of Marath Custodian Class cruiser. I normally find it difficult to get a design i like so i just went messy to the pen, and got a design I will soon try to draw more neatly... The ship itself is a mobile command centre as well as a weapon. Troops and material are deployed by dropships (below).

Newest model of the Kavaschniark (KV) 203 Gunship/t (Transport).

Character Jots...

Here are more character sketches from my RP chronicle. Here you can see Gawaine Durand and Elliot Laud the bard (Izzy Sheldon's character: http://izzeldon.blogspot.com/).

SXAL

These are 2 client visuals for a current project at Uni. We had to use a brief which took 4 letters from our name in a particular order. Mine was SXAL. These two near final ideas are:
1. Sanguivorous Xanthous Abducts Lady. (Based on characters from the RP game)
2. Spectral Xebec Accomodates Lagoon.

Dark Ages: Comic Shorts.

These are more in-joke pieces but for those who understand, enjoy.

Here, a Marath Officer in his Flecktarn armour gear descends a pile of rubble.
Being self critical I now realise his leg is a 'tad' long in proportion to the rest of him.

New Year preliminary sketches for armour sets. The Marath logo is a recurring symbol in many of my drawings. Think of it as a visual signature. In this case it is the sign of Marath's Section 17, Department of Civil Dafence (MCD).

Okay, lets start from the very start of my Dark Age design for my character Gawaine Durand. A Ranger cought up in a conspiracy to steal the crown of England. He has also had the misfortune of becoming a vampire (vital for he RP game). The bird mask is inluenced by the plague doctors' masks despite predating them. (c.1197)
Okay, I finally got round to setting up a blog for the New Year... Only a month late, but here it is.
